The "all-carbon" CERAMIKX™ filter combines the fine particulate
reduction of traditional ceramic filters with the chlorine, taste and
odour reduction of
activated carbon. With 99.9996% reduction of E.coli, the 0.2 µm CERAMIKX™
filter meets NSF Standard 53 Class 1 criteria for particulate removal and turbidity
reduction, and the control of cysts, including Cryptosporidium and Giardia.
CERAMIKX™ filters also meet NSF Standard 42 for Class 1 Chlorine @ 95% reduction of
free chlorine, with the SC providing > 1,000 gallons and the ST >2,000 gallons.
CERAMIKX™ filters are offered in a fully cleanable model. 2.50" O.D.
model ST with standard end caps designed to fit most standard 10" housings.
this filter can easily be cleaned with "just the wipe of a sponge".

CERAMIKX™ filters are finished with
polypropylene end caps designed to accommodate most standard housings.
EXTRUDED CARBON = EXCEPTIONAL
VALUE
CERAMIKX™ filters are manufactured using MATRIKX® extruded activated
carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and
efficiency. CERAMIKX™ filters flow in a radial (outside to inside) direction,
providing increased dirt capacity and low pressure drop. Unlike granular activated carbon
(GAC) filters, CERAMIKX™ cartridges will not channel or bypass, due to the extreme
uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core.

Notes
Chlorine capacity is the estimated
capacity in gallons during which the filter will remove >90% of influent chlorine (2
ppm) when operating at a given flow.
Particulate rating is for the removal of a given size as
determined from single-pass particulate counting results.
The CERAMIKX filter has been tested to meet the material requirements of NSF
Standards 42, 53, and 58.
The CERAMIKX filter has been tested to meet the performance requirements of NSF Standard
42 for Class 1 Chlorine reduction and Standard 53 for Class 1 Turbidity and Cyst
reduction. |
